$VG Aug 31 (Reuters) Activist investment firm Jana Partners has called on internet phone company Vonage Holdings Corp to hire advisers to explore strategic alternatives, including a possible sale of all or parts of its business, Bloomberg News reported on Tuesday.
$BAND is buying Voxbone for EV=€446M (6x EV/Sales) to drive international expansion. CPaaS market consolidation is on a way. Who is the Next target? $VG Vonage?
Voxbone is a communication as a service (CaaS) company headquartered in Brussels, with offices in San Francisco, Austin, London and Jassy (2nd city in Romania).

Twilio recent increase in expectations for Q3 revenue indicates that CPaaS market has huge demand. Out of four public US players Bandwidth $BAND and $TWLO already had a good run while Vonage $VG and 8x8 $EGHT still have a lot of room to catch up. If the CPaaS market is good indeed we will see it in their Q3 and Q4 revenue and the stock price will increase #buy
