NCL Industries Limited manufactures and sells building materials in India and internationally. It operates through five segments: Cement, Boards, Prefab Structures, Hydel Power, and Ready-Mix Concrete. The Cement segment manufactures and sells ordinary Portland cement for use in constructing high-rise buildings, bridges, flyovers, chimneys, and prestressed concrete structures; special grade cement for railway sleeper manufacturers; and Portland pozzolana cement for constructing water retaining structures and marine works, as well as for mass concreting, such as dams, dykes, retaining walls, foundations, and sewage pipes under the Nagarjuna Cement brand name. The Boards segment manufactures and sells cement bonded particle boards used in mezzanine flooring, cabins, cupboards, kitchen cabinets, partitions, false ceilings, door panels, wall claddings, table tops, stair cases, lockers, cabinets, cabins, booths, stands, sheds, building facades, back ups for roof elements, out door flooring, compound walls, back ups for hoardings, etc. The Prefab segment manufactures light weight prefabricated shelters and systems in various models, including farm houses, security cabins, row houses, store sheds, school buildings, dwelling houses, etc. The Hydel Power segment is engaged in the generation of hydel power with a total capacity of 15.75 megawatts. The Ready Mix Concrete segment manufactures and sells ready mix concrete. NCL Industries Limited also offers prepainted roll formed steel sections for making windows and doors, as well as builds townships. The company was formerly known as Nagarjuna Cements Limited and changed its name to NCL Industries Limited in December 1987. NCL Industries Limited was incorporated in 1979 and is headquartered in Hyderabad, India.
