Manx Telecom plc, a communication solutions provider, offers a range of fixed line, broadband, mobile, and data centre services to businesses, consumers, and the public sector on the Isle of Man. It operates through five segments: Fixed Line, Broadband and Data; Mobile; Off-Island; Data Centre; and Other. The Fixed Line, Broadband and Data segment provides fixed line, broadband, and connectivity services, connecting approximately 35,000 homes and 4,000 businesses on the Island. As of December 31, 2013, it had approximately 51,500 voice lines and 25,300 broadband customers. This segment also offers high speed broadband Fibre to the Cabinet services; and ADSL and VDSL, fixed line, and private circuit rental and connection services. The Mobile segment offers pre-paid and post-paid tariffs to various market segments; and sells mobile handsets and accessories. Its services include mobile calls, SMS and data, mobile rental, and roaming. As of the above date, this segment had approximately 36,000 pre-paid customers and 28,700 post-paid customers.
