$TSCO Tesco Plc, the U.K.’s biggest supermarket chain, is considering a sale of its South Korean business that could fetch more than $5 billion, people with knowledge of the matter said.
The company is weighing options including a sale or initial public offering of Homeplus, one of the people said, asking not to be identified as the details aren’t public. (Bloomberg)

$TSCO@Kourtney-West I am not sure about Matt Davies, but that article correctly accesses that key Tesco's problem are HR and service. The fact that Tesco is renewing the team to address these issues makes me #hold the stock.

UK retail sales excluding fuel increased 0.2% in March both in value and volume which is positive for retail stocks $TSCO$MRW$OCDO$SBRY#buy
Tesco has reported the worst results in its history with a record statutory pre-tax loss of £6.4bn for the year to the end of February.
That compares with annual pre-tax profit of £2.26bn a year earlier.

$TSCO#sell rating reaffirmed by equities researchers at Goldman Sachs in a research report issued on Monday. They currently have a GBX 200 ($2.97) price objective on the stock. $TSCO Tesco has bought British Land’s stake in 21 stand-alone Tesco food stores. The investment firm’s 50% stake was valued at £352 million ($526 million).
In exchange, the commercial developer bought Tesco’s 50% stake in two portfolios that are made up of shopping centers and retail parks anchored by Tesco outlets. That stake is valued at £381 million.
