$BT.A BT announced 6b broadband investment in the next three years. 2b to mobile, 4b to fixed line. 1.33b per year to fixed line vs. 1.0b before - this is not revolution, but a good increase in investments to the future #buy

$SKY $VOD $BT.A $MANX $TEEG $TALK $SKMD Mobile telecoms are struggling to grow their revenues: voice is declining for several years, data is joining the trend. Potential new services are network-related M2M/IoT and higher level digital services, but success in these segments is not guaranteed automatically, so the value of many telecom companies (both mobile and fixed lines; at least in the developed markets) will decline in the coming years #bearish

$BT.A $VOD did you know that EE is is the operator with the most complaints per 1000 customers in the UK? So BT would have a big turnaround potential as on my humble opinion BT's customer service is better. #bullish telecoms.com/269502/ee-to...s-chart/

$BT.A the deal would destroy value for shareholders - BT is too slow to extract synergies from fixed + mobile integration. On a market with 0 revenue growth and rising costs every competitor is already very focused on both top line and bottom line growth. #bearish

The deal sees BT buying all EE shares currently held by Orange and Deutsche Telekom. Then Deutsche Telekom will receive 12% in the new combined business and have a seat on the board.

Orange will receive a 4% stake, as well as about £3.4bn in cash.

$BT.A $VOD Vodafone will enter Britain’s crowded home broadband and pay-TV market in Spring next year as a defense against BT’s impending attack on the consumer mobile market, it announced on Tuesday.

While the move makes sense for Vodafone, this means competitive war for both companies which in turn will erase margins #bearish
