$13 This a great move which makes me #bullish for Hutchison - consolidation allows to decrease pricing pressure and invest more into developing future revenue streams which is so needed in the mobile world with declining voice revenue and data revenue unable to compensate it
$13 O2, Britain's 2nd-largest mobile operator, has been sold to Hutchison Whampoa, the owner of rival operator Three, for £10.25bn, to create a giant that will control 40pc of the market.
The merger of Three and O2 will create Britain's largest mobile operator, with 31 million customers, leap-frogging EE.
